Introduction

I decided to work on wallam because of the messages and tweets i was having back then. It was mostly people that struggling to buy medical stuffs or organization that raise money to finance water or schools for rural communities.

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, typically via the internet. Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and alternative finance. In 2015, over US$34 billion was raised worldwide by crowdfunding.

How to use Wallam?

Wallam is a easy to use product as i like software. An user just sign up and launch a campaign by giving details and documents related to that , the amount to raise and a description so people can understand. Once approved everyone can participate and donate by just clicking on an url with a comment if they are willing too. The payments can be via senegalese digital money like WAVE , ORANGE MONEY , FREEMONEY or cards like MASTERCARD , VISA .... Wallam is built on top of PAYDUNYA .

The user who launch the campain can wait until the target is hitted or just withdraw the raised money by just clicking a button. Wallam takes a small fees for that campain and the status is closed which means none can do a donation.
